Peter Obi commiserates with Makinde, Oyo people over Alao-Akala’s death

Former vice-presidential candidate Peter Obi has condoled with the people of Oyo and Governor Seyi Makinde over the death of former governor Christopher Alao-Akala.

In a condolence message on Friday, Mr Obi urged them and the bereaved family to accept the incident as the will of the Almighty.

“On behalf of my family, I commiserate with Governor Seyi Makinde, the good people of Oyo State and the entire Alao-Akala family, over the death of Otunba Christopher Alao-Akala. May God who called him home grant him eternal rest and give all who mourn him, the fortitude to bear the loss,” Obi said.

Alao-Akala died on Wednesday in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
