The leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Uche Secundus praised former President Olusegun Obasanjo and other government critics for telling the truth about Nigeria.
Obasanjo said Sunday that the country is divided and the federal government is shaken.

However, Secundus said most Nigerians share Obasanjo’s views and concerns.

In a statement, Secondus praised the president, the All Progressive Congress (APC) and supporters for playing the gallery. Secondus,, encourage all citizens to embrace the wise words of patriotic elders instead of attacking the present and the conspicuous.

The PDP chairman recommended that President Moham Madubuhari and the ARC seek wise advice.
He called on the president to stop abusing and ignoring nationalists fighting for Nigeria’s reunification.

Party leaders condemned many tax, customs and security issues.

He cautioned against militarization of the poll.

“To deploy military and other security agencies to do election duties outside the one statutorily assigned to them as was witnessed in 2019 general election and the gubernatorial elections in Bayelsa and Kogi State clearly undermines democracy.

“We saw and witnessed the gimmick in Osun, Bayelsa, Kano States where security operatives were used to disrupt polls at PDP strong areas leading to cancellation and the so-called inconclusive elections.”

Urging Edo people to reelect Governor Godwin Obaseki, Secondus admonished the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies to be neutral.
