If you kill us, who will vote for you – Yul Edochie tells Nigerian Politician

A popular Nollywood Actor, Yul Edochie has lamented over the recent killings happening in Nigeria.

He made the lamentation on his Facebook Page through a video he uploaded following the recent Ondo Church Killing that happened at the Church Mass at St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, in Owo town, Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State where a large number of Christian were killed.

“How can you open fire on an unarmed citizens, unarmed innocent worshippers inside the church, weti de happen, whats going on. Everyday we are talking about the killings in this country and nothing is being done, whats going on? Killings are happening in the North, South East, West, everywhere killings, kidnapping, human lives does not mean anything to them and human being are been slaughtered like a fly”

He continued, “Don’t we have government again, where is the government, what’s going on. We can’t continue like this. Everybody is concerned about election here and there, if they kill us finish, who una go govern, who will remain. And you people are buying forms N100m each, if you put all these monies together, is it not enough to secure this country? Is it not better to secure this country first than that election you people are rushing for? No body is safe in this country”

“Nigerian Politicians, all these killings and kidnapping happening, is it not touching you people? why are you people so heartless? this is why some people are running out from this country.”


Yul prayed for the repose of the deceased and also send his condolences to the bereaved families of the recent Ondo Church Killings, “Please take heart”.

Finally he urged the Nigerian Government to sit up and do something.

“Go after the people who are doing all these, forget election and secure the lives of Nigerians”, he said.
