Group Addresses Emergence of Rev Father Hyacinth Alia as Benue APC Governorship Candidate
A group within the All Progressives Congress (APC) has solidly rejected the emergence of a catholic priest. Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia emerged as the governorship candidate in Benue State.
The group said that the APC is yet to get a candidate that would represent the party in the forthcoming election. They further stated that the party leadership has only succeeded in giving up the Benue governorship seat to their opposition party, PDP.

The APC Solidarity Group, Benue state chapter on Tuesday, June 14, warned that the governorship candidate in the state, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia, is not a member of the state chapter of the party.
This made Rev Fr Alia’s emergence at the governorship primary held in the state has since become a subject of controversy among party members in Benue.
