Emmanuel Yawe, the National Publicity Secretary of Arewa Consultative Forum, a pan-Northern sociopolitical organization, died at the age of 65.
Talatu, one of his daughters, confirmed her father’s death to our correspondent in Kaduna on Friday.
She reported her father died in his sleep while confirming his death.

When asked if the news of her father’s death is true, she said, “Yes, it’s true. He didn’t wake up this morning.”
While announcing Yawe’s death, ACF Secretary-General Murtala Aliyu also stated that Yawe’s death had been communicated to the ACF’s national chairman.
Aliyu stated that the ACF’s spokesman’s funeral arrangements will be publicized in due time.
“It is with a sorrowful heart that I bring to your attention the passing away of our Publicity Secretary Chief Emmanuel Yawe this morning,” the ACF’s scribe stated.
“I informed Chairman Audu Ogbeh, who directed me to bring it to the attention of the members.”
“We will pay a visit to the family and keep you updated on the funeral preparations.” May his gentle soul rest in peace.”
